To Evaluate of The therapeutic effect of Avastin in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy

15 patients were enrolled with CCSC . CCSC is the continuation of exude under or inside of fovea that lasted more than 4 months and approved with FFA and OCT.under local anesthesia and sterile conditions 0.1cc/2.5mg of bevacizumab was injected intravitrealy at 3.5 mm from the limbus. Patients were evaluated every 6 to 8 weeks until the end of the 6 month period .If at first exam, complete absorption of fluid occurred and confirmed by OCT, The patient's response to treatment was positive and followed. If no change occurs in thickness , this were considered as negative response and the patient is excluded

The average age was 42. 7 ± 7 .5 Y , 80% were male.In the total sample, before treatment, the mean CMT was 298 .5±26.72 and after 8-6 weeks of therapy reduced to 281 .33± 11.60 µg. Of the 15, only 5 PTs had a complete response (33.3%). Average CMT in these cases, after 4 and 6 months F/U was, 279.8 ±12.07 and 276.6± 10.4 µg respectively which means that it is a continuation of treatment.In evaluating the visual changes in the total sample (n = 15) before treatment ,The average BCVA was 0.52 ± 0.25 and after two months of treatment reduced to 0 .35 ± 0.32 LOG MAR. (visual recovery process ) and the changes in those patients who responded fully to treatment, 4 and 6 months of F/U will continue and Mean ± SD was 0.06± 0.13 LOG MAR.In general, results based on clinical expectation , only 33.3% of the cases (5PTs) had a complete response to treatment and This rates at a expectation of at least 50% of the samples, was not significant based on Binomial test.

). Based on of this study in patients with CCSR ,the results of therapy with Avastin was not desirable.
