Purpose:
|
To describe a patient with xanthogranolomatous disease and treatment outcome
|
Methods:

A 15-y-old lady presented for left upper eyelid fullness and droopiness first started 4 month earlier with gradual painless progression
|
Results:
|
all systemic evaluation was normal. CT scan was done that revealed supraorbital poorly demarcated non homogeneous mass which was isodense to extraocular muscles. surgical debulking was done. . Histopathology confirm diagnosis .proptosis and ptosis improve obviously 3 weeks after surgery. No sign of recurrency was seen throughout 8 month after surgery.

Conclusion:
|
Although corticosteroids and immunomodulators are optional treatment, surgical debulking procedure was sufficient and effective
|
